Moses Mabhida Soccer Stadium from the sea
Durban I’ll present for D,
Domiciled in Durban are
Dreaming at a nice warm sea
Don’t you think that’s best by far?
Sailing into Durban Harbour
Dozy, they do tend to get;
Don’t like the hectic paces
Denizens up-country set,
Doing their sad rat-races.
QE II from the Yacht Mole
Disappointingly, the town
Dapper, once upon a time,
Dirty, now, and has gone down,
Due to some neglect and crime.
Durban City Centre from the Berea
Does it still have much appeal,
Dare I pose such a question?
Definitely’s what I feel -
Don’t expect much correction!
Visitors are respectfully requested to note that after some preposterous uphill from my computer or the site or both, I finally got the pictures posted in the previous post.

Well done yet again, Col. Love that rainbow pic.
I am thoroughly enjoying your poetry. Love the alliterative style you’re using. Very engaging!
Stunning photo’s and post!
Glad you liked them! I think I’ll have to get a bit less ambitious, though!
Very creative! Poetry, travel log and photos all in one. I visited
Durban in 1979 for just a day, and put my foot in the water where the two oceans meet. Your last photo is gorgeous! Enjoy the challenge… http://4ambassadorsofchrist.blogspot.com/
Thanks!
Durban only has Indian Ocean, so that would have been Cape Town where Atlantic and Indian meet.
Nicely done!
Thanks!
