TIP-ICALLY REALLY AWFUL RHYME and POETIC TIPS

side view has a poetic theme this week:

Pray consider these four samples
Of Colonialist’s art,
Say now, which would be examples
With a true poetic part?
I suspect you’ll be dismissing
Both initial with a snort,
With the next, you may find missing
What a poem, to have, ought;
If last one seems less pathetic,
Then I must confide – to me –
It’s by no means more poetic
Than are all the other three!

A tip is what you visit
If you want to dump some junk?
So, a tip that’s given to you
Is just a lot of bunk?

And does a girl give bigger tip
To car-guard, if a hunk?
And would the tip of iceberg
Warn a sailor he’ll get sunk?

It’s long way to Tip a Rary –
Does the Rary tipped go, ‘Clunk!’?
If you tiptoe after someone,
Are they backheeled into funk?

And within your favourite tip-ple
Would a cherry there you dunk?
And do you then get tipsy,
Or just merely somewhat drunk?

if
you
string
some words
together so as
to make a kind of
of pattern, but with
nothing whatsoever rhyming
and not a great deal of sense
would that really be any sort of
po
et
tree?

deserted mind-halls
reverberate with echoes
of empty futility
mockingly returning
the nothing
from the nothing
to the nothing

  6. Genius, Col 😀 Such a stream of consciousness! Loved the first three, and your deserted mind-halls reminded me of mine.
