We had a great time at Adams. Here is one of the authors, Mr kalinka, – wearing a wig, of course *grin* – displaying his masterpiece. We had a lovely time with much jabbering, and then another day and hubby stood us all to lunch where lots more chatting occurred.

I found my car again without difficulty this time. *acknowledges wild cheers* Only, this time, I lost the parking ticket. *tries to ignore rude boos*  En route to pay the lost ticket penalty, I was offered a ticket (not mine) ‘found’ by a gentleman who probably ‘finds’ them for a living.  Was it immoral, I wonder, to tip him for it rather than waste time on traipsing up to the fourth floor to effect that penalty payment?

Then kalinka and family visited Meerkat Manor for a while and the conversation and vino flowed until they had to dash to a braai.

What? I left something out? Oh yes – we sold some books, too!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the launch, Col. Here’s hoping the book will continue to sell. 🙂

  2. Some people appoint a driver who will stay sober and alert while others party. Well you need a sober driver responsible for memorising parking details and keeping the ticket safe and then you can concentrate on having a good time 😉

The Kalinkas are a couple? Wot a surprise!
