OF FODDER’S DAY, MOB AND REALLY AWFUL BOOK PROMOTION

On Sunday did the fambly give
Some fodder to the fodders –
The only time appre-cha-tive
Or no-one ever bodders.

So at the beach on Fodders’ Day
We glugged and guzzled freely,
It surely is a goodly way
To split one’s breeches, neely.

Today there came that awful word –
Four letters I’ll be shirking –
Oh, spending time is quite absurd
On such a thing as W O R K ing

But after travels all around
Attending to the job thus,
Yet still a lovely chance I found
To have a Mini-MOB* thus!

twolips the blogger that I met,
And we had lots to talk of!
But not a cake she’d let me get
That we could have a fork of.

 For Book Boutique in Doonside fair
Was where we did foregather
And ‘Solar Wind’ we spotted there,
Quite prominently, rather!

But twolips wanted ‘Almost Dead’,
Of which I had a copy;
It’s something she can read in bed,
And funny, but not soppy.

The advertising mentions here
Have not been asked or paid for –
*meaningful leer*
Which ain’t to say I would not cheer
Provision, if it’s made for!

I am a gent, as you can tell
From how I hold my teacup;
Now Agent, (lit’rary) as well –
Profession’s done a sneakup!

*Meeting Of Bloggers
