The turkey here, whose name is Woo,
Is happy, on this day,
His SA home’s without a U
And thus not USA!
Mind you, at Christmastime he had
Some cause for apprehension,
But now that he’s a pet, the lad
Is free of roast intention;
He’s shown that he’s the kind of bird
Who can show great affection,
And it would simply be absurd
To offer him rejection!
Thus he’s co-owner of a home
With pair of human-kind,
Plus dogs, and if your eyes should roam,
A pig you’ll also find!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL VIEWERS WHO MAY FLOWER IN AMERICA!
Sooooo nicr to see! I really don’t think I could eat turkey ever again after all the posts where I’ve seen them in a different light!

One has to adopt double standards unless one goes vegan. Turkey pets are cute; turkey ready to go with cranberry sauce is delicious.

Silly question, but do Turkeys lay eggs?

It was just too eggshell-lent a chance to lay aside!

They do indeed, or there would be a chronic shortage of turkeys!

We had a lot of snoring going on here today after the main meal . . . not me, my sister, or BFF, but the other four couldn’t keep their eyes open.

You could accuse the other four of being snakes – sleeping off big meals is a speciality of that species!
