BLOGGING A – Z CHALLENGE – APRIL 5 – E

               –

Eagerly you wait to see
Entry I will have for E?
End result done Eagle-ly;
Excellent, you will agree!

E, for this, needs F to be
Entered therein frontally;
Ef-fort thus demonstrably
Easy, as Fish Eagle he!

Elegantly soars from tree,
Ever gliding gracefully,
Eminently milit’ry! –
Educe, Martial Eagle, free.

I was not at my Es with this one, having become over-ambitious in trying to end with that sound on all verses. Some stiltedness is excusable! I got to love the cries of fish eagles when visiting Malawi, and am really happy that we now have some in our area.

With a wingspan of up to about 2,2 metres, martial eagles are the largest in Africa, and are immensely powerful birds. I featured one in my fantasy Regina.

    Very cool poems! I love how you are doing the A-Z challenge. My inner animal is a bald eagle.
