The side view theme which this week is unfurled:
‘The seven wonders of my world’;
The first one’s to wonder if there will be time
To put all my wonderings into a rhyme.
Then, a second wonder which comes to my mind:
I wonder, indeed, if we ever will find
What really took place on the Mary Celeste –
Or, possibly, just not to know is the best?
‘I wonder who’s kissing her now?’ is a song,
Would bringing that in as a wonder be wrong?
‘I just called to say I love you’ also goes –
Well, that’s Stevie Wonder, as everyone knows!
I wonder: the universe that I now see
Perhaps was constructed especially for me?
Is there such a thing as an actual sinner?
And my final wonder is: ‘What is for dinner?’
A wonder is here
With which I’m in heaven;
I hold the seas dear,
And they number – seven!

I just wonder who your English teacher was in those long ago days! He/she much have been an in-spy-ray-shun.

Act chilly, most of them were pains in the but-of-course.
I think the blame lies with a teacher in Grade School who got all excited when we were asked to write a sentence with ‘grapes’, and I wrote ‘I like grapes but not when they give me gripes’. The seed was sown.

Well done, Col. Your wonders are a wonder to the world. I know because Stevie Wonder said so.
