THE BEST BLUES SONG EVER

I have just written the blues song of the era.  It has everything, from an honest down-to-basics earthy quality to the pathos of rejection, to despair, and even to redemption at the end where of course the predominantly minor key transposes up to a major reflecting the nature of true friendship.  Nominations are invited for the most suitable world-famous singers who should be invited to bid for the performing rights.

THE DOGGY POOS ON MY SHOES BLUES

I got the doggy poos, doggy poos,

on my shoes blues;

If some doggy poos get on your shoes,

 then there ensues

Dismay, disgust and consternation;

 you take abuse;

An’ no one wants t’ know ya, so your

 friends you will lose,

They wrinkle up their noses, and they

 make big ‘to-do’s,

You ask them to come near you, and they

 rudely refuse,

If you are in a place, then other

 places they choose,

And if you walk right up to them, then

 they take a cruise:

I think I’m simply gonna have to

 be a recluse …

I got the doggy poos, doggy poos,

 on my shoes blues!

It seems, though, when it comes to doggies,

 there’s better news –

The doggies love my shoes encrusted

 with doggy poos!

MORE ‘IN’ THINGS I HAVE INVENTED:

 I like being in Transigent.  When I’m there I never want to move.  Being in Flexible has the same effect on me.

To be in Direct, you have to take the roundabout route.

When I am in Coherent, nobody seems to understand me.

I’ve never been in Labour, but I hear that it is a painfully pushy sort of place.

One always seems to choose to wrong moment to be in Opportune.

    Wonderful x 2! Love your way with words.

    I wrote a blues song once, about a windjammer cruise off the coast of Maine ~ The Cramped Cabin Blues. “I got the cramped cabin blues, sailing on Penobscott Bay. . .”
