I have a movie you should see,
And this will give the news
That in my Blogger blog it be,
Which I so seldom use;
The hero is a bright young spark
With quite a lot to say,
But when it comes to match his bark
With bite, he runs away!
The sounds which then emerge are quite
Incredible to hear –
He is a very noisy sprite
When overcome with fear!
I opened the Blogger one at about the same time as WP, and for a while I had a bit of fun there with flash fiction and poetry. When those people faded, though, I found it very difficult to trace any further kindred spirits, and just about abandoned it. Recently I tried a few posts, but the result gave all the wild activity one finds in a buried chunk of granite – which is also how my original LD blog has gone since the winds of change played havoc with it.

Can’t you bring the videos into this blog, Col?

Who has the time to run two blogs? Certainly not me. It’s all I can do to keep up with this one. 🙂

Very glad you’re here in WP, Col: it simply wouldn’t be the same without your wordplay…

Handy to have somewhere to park videos, though!

I’ve basically given up on LD as well, it seems pointless to post there as there is almost no interaction. Plus there’s so much spam.
Loved the rhyme 🙂

Yes, I haven’t even looked at it lately.
Pleased you enjoyed!

That was screamingly funny 😉
As for leaving a comment, I tried, but really, not going through the hassle of those stupid words, and then, as with LD, it tells me I used the wrong code…
Think I’ll stick to WP – at least it works most of the time!!

Blogger does have some nice features – if it were more community-friendly!

Other blogging platforms don’t appeal to me as much as WP ~ some seem downright antagonistic to people who want to leave a comment.

Yes, if I want to respond to something I don’t enjoy having to play a set of guessing games first.

Something else I don’t like about Blogger is the word verification 😉
I popped over recently to my old LD blog and found that it was a 24.com/WP blog now.
The one advantage was that I could back-up the old posts and import them into another WP blog as everything doesn’t work on the 24 blog. Categories, tags and followers were lost, I am spammed every-time I post, I cant get the subscription to work, etc.
I’m glad I left when I did.

I faithfully continued to post there, but am packing it in. Nobody seems to visit my site there any more so it is a waste of time. Mind you, Blogger is much the same.

I have a blogger blog and have not updated it recently but have noticed a few people going over to it.

I used it for the video this time – really easy to post them there without upgrading.
