I am really late on this theme, but this little scene on my beach does seem to fit rather too well for me not to put it forward. Of course, the fact that there is a distant figure in the picture means that I wasn’t on my own, and the fact that I was there to take the photo means that the figure wasn’t on its own. Still, let’s not get too literal about this, shall we? In fact, to be quite honest, I also had a pooch pack of considerable numbers behind me, but that is also a technicality we can ignore.

I was thinking ideal for streaking but if there are other people around, no matter how far away, it’s probably not such a good idea.

I’m late on most of the themes – I just wait till I find the right shot or have something to say about it.

I don’t check well enough, too. I go to pop in a comment, and only then find that they are closed!

Consider it ignored. Lovely pic.

Since we can see neither you, nor the pooch pack, but only the solitary figure – I’d say that qualifies you nicely for the challenge 😉
I can do with a bit of beach time right about now!!

Now you’ve spoilt the whole effect, Col. You’re far too honest. 🙂

It is like these reality shows. There is the poor adventurer all alone facing deadly peril, and one is petrified for him/her – until one starts wondering about the film crew and backup crew …

I don’t know if you have ever watched that series, ‘Cities of the Underworld’ where that intrepid guy crawls through impossibly small openings, and down steep narrow stone steps at great peril to life and limb, then when he eventually arrives in the cave, or dungeon, it’s obvious that the whole camera crew managed to get there before him, together with all their equipment. 😆

Exactly! The thing is, not many people seem to have that particular penny plopping for them.

I could take a solitary walk on that beach, looks very inviting 🙂

If the pooch pack caught sight of you leaving on your way, the walk wouldn’t be solitary! 🙂

You’re taking photos of a solitary figure. That’s very stalkerish you know 😉

At least the figure is clothed (I imagine) and I didn’t have a massive zoom lens! 🙂

Oh the figure in the distance is solitary and you have the canine company.
