Some dark thoughts there Col but worthy of being expressed. Took me a while to grasp as it is so different from your usual style.

And along comes a space ship full of greys and the zap what’s left of the surviving survivors…when we’re gone they settle in and make what was earth another theme park. Oooh, a new roller coaster! and the shades of men-gone-by can operate the park, I think…
ps. loved the poem 🙂

It is a humour park, showing humans as they were, but as the greys have a low humour tolerance hordes of them die due to laughter overdose.

So when the Grays keel over what’s left of mankind in their scifi cages escape, repopulate the world and we can try again? This time, if people are really stupid, they are encouraged to run with REALLY sharp scissors? Oh and humour park becomes sort of weird shrine every one has to pilgrimage to once a year or so. You get the rights on the novel, THE HUMOROUS PARK TALES or some such thing.
