I had not updated widgets;
They had got right out of date –
Links messed up, at any rate!
One would really think a linking
Shouldn’t merely lead to blinking,
So when that is all they get,
People tend to get upset!
And some latest – so dim-witted! –
Had been totally omitted;
Thus two latest books, I fear,
Were both failing to appear.
If you don’t know how to do them,
From your Dashboard you get to them,
Choose ‘Appearance’, ‘Widgets’ bag;
After that it’s still a drag!
Should you want some slight tuition,
Bringing widgets to fruition,
All you have to do is shout –
I will try and help you out!
Sidebar, one should underscore it,
Or most folks tend to ignore it,
Thereby sadly missing out
On what one is all about.

I leave the widgets to hubby’s tender care. I have a hoard of awards lurking in the wings, still waiting to be displayed. I think they’ll have to stay there. I like your ‘Bird-call Nocturne’.

I do think one needs to limit the display of awards, a bit, or they do actually slow things down.

I don’t really bother with the ‘tool’ widgets much. As will be seen, I prefer the ones that let me show off a bit!

I’m like the others. I miss the LD way of getting widgets in.
Sarchasm tried to explain how to do that, but I still didn’t manage to put in a single widget.
How sad, too bad.

If ever yearning for one I have figured out how to do them, more or less! Preparation on a dummy post is much the same as LD, but then one has to drag them into the ‘operative’ area.

I have still not managed to sort out anything resembling personalisation of my blog – huge mission to get anything happening. One thing where LD was much more user friendly 😉

Admittedly, I have a spot of ADD in that regard. If I’m not in the mood, and it takes too long, I lose complete interest, and really – could not be bothered again 😉
