The Real Awful Case of the Murdered Adverbs

Some adverbs real foul murdered,
And we should now detect
Who, intelletual stunted,
Is one you should suspect.

First victim’s name was ‘really’;
It was real sad to see,
How he was terminated:
The Yanks prime suspects be.

And also, we have, ‘safely’;
‘Do travel safe,’ you say? –
A portable-type strongbox
That transport would convey!

The advertising people
All also play a part:
Trying to be cleverly,
They think they do it smart!

Then, group of local yokels
Who really make one sick –
When wanting fast attendance,
They ask you to come quick!

Abusing ‘ly’ so awful,
They should drop stonely dead:
‘Come farly, fastly, soonly!’
Is what they should have said?

Should I be worried about someone hanging around at the bottom of the garden?

Should I be worried about someone hanging around at the bottom of the garden?

Maybe not - he's just blown out of here.

Maybe not – he’s just blown out of here.

    One thing I still want to experience. The kite surfing thing, not the safe that travels 😉
    Although I’d like to to do that too. Travel i mean!
