Three Year Blogiversary.

 

World Press has sent me a little reminder that I kicked this ‘ere blog off a whole three years ago.

It started by playing second fiddle to another blog until I finally started copying posts from there across to this one.  Gradually the other platform went into decline, and last year I abandoned that blog.  

I think the decision to become a tiny minnow in a big sea was better, in the long run, than being a whale in a lake.   I have met a very good number of fascinating bloggers whom I wouldn’t have had the slightest hope of coming across in the old forum.  I have attracted more spam comments than legitimate ones, but the filter has coped well with that and the genuine ones have delighted me.  My stats are modest indeed in terms of what so many achieve, but they are pleasing nevertheless.

So, my thanks to WordPress and all those who visit these zany pages!   I am sure the ride together will be even more fun over year four.
