I spent most of today in a sub-committee designed to straighten out a constitution which has been so patched up over the years that it is a wonder it doesn’t fall to bits and scatter itself all over the place.
This was done in our dining room, with full-length sliding doors giving views which on Sunday included the following decorations on the pond. Today we didn’t have those to distract us, but there was a pause while we could almost hear the chanting of, ‘A, B, C, D, E, F, G!’ as a school of dolphins passed. There were also some scuba divers, a soaring sparrowhawk, and that same white excursion craft we had on Sunday, still hovering persistently. Maybe the latter is actually CIA or MI5 or something, keeping tabs on us.
