The only one that isn’t, that I can think of, is the ‘regret I will be unable to attend’ applied to a party one has NO intention of going to!

He held her, murmuring. “Sleep; dream.”
“I will return”, the promise unkept.
“Love prevails” was the bitter irony
She smiled, wiping the doubt away.
Like words, the knife went deep.
Crying, she rose; “I hate, still!”
Child-like, he believed her lies.
The recoil stung, like his rejection.
. . . sorry . . . I’m starved for writing. This was therapeutic, as well.
