Dark Indian Ink on a dull day – a storm was pen-ding, write?

Oh, the effort I had to go to in order to take pictures of the sea for this Challenge!  Yesterday I ventured all the way onto the front patio as soon as the day’s gale had subsided a bit, and got this shot of the Indian Ocean looking gloomy.

Today things cheered up remarkably, and so – all energetic-like – I went right out onto the lawn, and then even a bit of the way down the path to do my clicking!  I did mix some of the green stuff with the ocean here and there, just for a bit of contrast.

The forest tries to claim the limelight, but the sea is still smiling through …

That’s far enough down the front garden – time to head home for a rest!

Now I’d better go and lie down, after all that exercise …

Don’t forget the vote for the Caption Competition is still open in the previous post.

  3. Your photos remind me of a goal I once had: to take a photo every day at the same time of day, for a year, of the lake a live near. Then pick the best shots that show the different moods of the lake and display them. Maybe I’ll still do that… 🙂

You live right next to the ocean? How lucky you are! My favorite is the dark, brooding sea in the first picture
