Six Word Story Challenge: Youth – the spirit of youth

This picture is an inadvertent double-exposure of someone the photographer has no recollection of ever having seen?  Or is it something more?

Youth rising

Taken so young – but really gone?

Two more directly contrasting ones for the challenge:

Repeated tragedies chased away her youth.

Her youthful spirit resisted all tempests.

Colonialist sig.

  1. That story of yours gave me goose bumps, Col. I do hope that if the spirits are indeed among us, they have a happy life and don’t long to be part of the living.
Your two other stories are also full of thoughts and images. Great contributions, thank you!

That is always the first conclusion. This may be one of the many occasions where that is not the explanation. (An actual ghost is still bottom of the list of ones I would put forward, though.)
