With my only recent picture being a shot of the funfair attended last night by the grandkidlets, I thought it wouldn’t be fair to squeeze that into the ‘habit‘ subject. Then I thought, why not? It actually is Fair – and fun, too – and it is an annual (crazy?) habit to attend so as to spend a lot of money to get the kids whirled and flung around. So here it is.
Then I reflected on a habit as worn. Lots of people have thought of the nun type, so I will have nun of it. What about riding, though? The riding habit of the unfortunate Victorian lady seems a most uncomfortable garment – in fact one can say that they got into a bad habit whenever they went riding. Anyway, I don’t have any pictures of those.
A riding habit I do have a picture of is mine. As may be seen, it is my habit to ride with a European saddle and style rather than the Western ones.

I like your take on habits. Is that a dapple grey that you are riding? I love horses!

He is. A very amiable creature, suited to the fact that I hadn’t been in the saddle for a while.

Lucky you! I always wanted my own horse. I rarely get to ride or even be near horses. But when I do, I just admire their spirit.

There used to be a fun fair down on the PE beachfront every year in December and I used to love going there. I think it’s still there but it’s not the same as it was before

i would hope it is up to par with this one, which isn’t at all bad. It does lack a really good helter-skelter, though.
