I believe I invented the ‘HARE’ joke as an art form. Hares rule the world.
Hare, for your wonder, haredmiration and enjoyment, is one of my early versions:
TH-HARE BE MUSIC!
Lern-hare and Loewe wrote my F-hare Lady, in which one of the songs was: ‘In Hare-tford, Hare-a-ford and Hare-ampshire, hare-icanes hare-dly hare-ver hare-pen’. Audrey Hare-pburn and Rex Hare-isson sta-hare-red in the movie.
P.S. It was adapted from ‘Pygma-hare-lion’ by George Be-hare-nard Shaw.
The god with blue skin and 6 arms wants you to say “hare-ri-krishna” .
(but the Japanese swordsman committed “hare-a-kiri” after reading this)

One can rabbit on forever with these ‘hare’ puns, to-hare-able though they may be!

Has anyone used the “bad hare day” line? If not I claim it; if so I steal it.

It’s all yours, for this string. It’ll probably fit my next post, too!

It’s a story that holds a special place in my heart. I try to sit and watch it at least once a year and it takes me back to that lonely girl who first watched it in a theatre in Montreal and discovered there is magic in this world.

But not a version with any hares in it, I have no doubt!
I was first introduced to the play, and ‘Not Pygmalion likely!’ was part of my vocabulary (using those words, of course) at a young age!

Actually, the play and the movie were both rather different, but pleasing, works of art.

You haven’t changed a bit, Col! I used to blog years and years ago as Cranky McGrouchy and then gave it up. Blogging again under my own name and thought I’d pop in and see your blog and it feels like I never left. Love it!
