Ah, how I miss having dogs… I only have a stray cat which calls at night (for supper and breakfast) and sleeps with me when it’s not too hot. If I could, I would have a menagerie but all free to come and go!

It is lovely having a mixture of them. Mind you, when we had seven dogs and thirteen cats – and horse – it was overdoing it a bit.

Its amazing how quickly they can remove that stingy thing. Love all the dogs. We have only one left now as the cream labrador Zazu is in dog heaven, her hips gave in! Now Bella is all alone but not sure if we should punish her with a puppy to keep her company. Well time will tell.

Maybe it would be kinder to Bella to look for a mature rescue dog which won’t be overbearing!
