A Really Awful Limited View

The NaPoWriMo suggestion for today:

I’ve looked through window at the view,
And noted nouns and colours: Check!
The trees are green, the pool is blue –
With lots of fleck, but what the heck.

Most houses are quite light, all right,
Though some do seem a sort of cream,
To call them white would make it trite:
That would, I deem, cause lost esteem.

Their tops are mainly tiled in red,
Alas, alack, one’s done in black;
In garden bed, it must be said,
There is, of blooms, a sorry lack.

I could find more for this sad score,
A lot of stuff would show, I know,
By getting up before I saw …
Such effort, though, is a no-go!

To get this view I would have needed to rise and take steps before I succeeded!

To get to this view I just would have needed
to rise and take steps before I succeeded!

The view might be limited in terms of sight but it clearly (bugger!) didn’t limit your imagination 🙂

    The description is extremely clear
what you seek is very near.
    other houses, roof of black
shows a definite class thats lack.
must mean that it gets very hot
because the sun likes black a lot
no flowers in the garden grow
no colour where the seeds not sown
I, d rather have some grass of green
and water just to set the scene
but I thought you bit of prose
with such beauty as a rose
so thank you once again my friend
now this really is the end
