Curt, Really Awfully

NaPoWriMo, with increasing sadism, prompts the invention of a curtal (meaning cropped) sonnet, and gives, as example, one by the inventor:

Pied Beauty

Glory be to God for dappled things —
For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow;
For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim;
Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings;
Landscape plotted and pieced — fold, fallow, and plough;
And áll trádes, their gear and tackle and trim.

All things counter, original, spare, strange;
Whatever is fickle, freckled (who knows how?)
With swift, slow; sweet, sour; adazzle, dim;
He fathers-forth whose beauty is past change:

A Curtal Sonnet on a Curtal Sonnet on Beautiful Pies 

Curtal sonnets have the strangest scheme,
  They rabbit on throughout the second line
    And hare through third before they even try
Some sort of rhyming scheme of which to dream;
  But then they rhyme a line which comes out fine;
    And now a match to try you will hares-pie. 

At this point they go bunny-hugging strange
  Until hare line that’s fine they will design;
    Try to es-pie that hare-pie-ness pass by;
 So strange that’s followed by small change:

    But why?

Sonatina is the name

 for a little Sonata;

Sonatoddla would be one

for Sonata as starter?
