OH DEAR, OH DEAR – REALLY AWFUL

The newlyweds were floating, yet,
Way up there on cloud nine,
When wife from hubby’s boss did get
A rather worrying line.

‘Don’t waiting up for husband plan –
He will be rather late;
He had to go to Darling, an
Affair to consummate …’

Now, wifey didn’t take this well,
Or use her judgment sound;
In fact she got as mad as … anything,
And hurled things all around!

And when her husband did return,
Quite late into the night,
She bashed him with a coffee-urn,
Which knocked him out of sight!

So, only when he had come round,
To head in bandage drape,
Could he explain the business found
In Darling, in the Cape!
