Really Awfully Sat On and Switched Off

It's MY cushion, and if you won't move, I'll just have to sit on top of you! (Only time for a blurred shot before she fell off.)

‘It’s MY cushion, and if you won’t move, I’ll just have to sit on top of you!’ (Only just enough time for this blurred shot before she fell off.) (See Challenge Post)

In microwave, a switch had gone,
The wretched thing remained switched on,
The only way to solve this flaw
Was leaving latch off on the door.

And then computer, after sleeps,
Just uttered three pathetic ‘peeps’,
And from that point there seemed to be
No vestige of activity.

And so, today, no time I lost:
The switch got fixed, at quite a cost;
And in computer, seems the jam
Was caused by packed-up card for RAM

And meantime access was denied
To lots of programmes there inside,
Of emails, now, and all that stuff
I will have lots more than enough!

  4. All the appliances in our kitchen are currently on borrowed time! They aren’t wiring optimally, and I suspect one day each will revolt and stop working entirely. Unfortunately even if I begin to write now, I will not possess the ability to poetically tell you about their demise. You have a talent that makes even an ordinary microwave mishap sound like fun!

  5. why is it one thing can’t break all by itself instead of causing a contagion to spread throughout the house breaking things hither on yon and expecting you to fix everything at once.
