My reference to the Kraken was based on the deep sleep Tennyson gives them on the ocean floor, the ‘wakes’ of the Wynham novel, and the general legend surrounding them sleeping on the ocean floor. I was suggesting that the mating croaks were enough to wake the Kraken.

It was a great party for the triplets. She did look pensive, didn’t she? I must say,
I personally enjoyed the party very much – but then I was imbibing with the grandpa of the triplets. A delightful miexed-race family who happily refer to themselves as being Coloureds.

  4. The look on her face is priceless. She could be pooped from all the partying or disappointed that it’s all over. At any rate, I love it. Looks like someone went to a great deal of trouble decorating and throwing a nice shindig!
