Showed up until show down.

The Exhibition with a long name closed at 17h00 today, and then a large group of exhausted exhibitors had to start packing away and clearing out.

I am now officially more bushed than the Amazon Forest.

Anyway, it was a good show providing many highly interesting learning opportunities – some we gave, but many we received.  From the Society’s point of view, a highly successful enterprise demonstrating great teamwork and imagination.

Glad the show closed with you bushed but not collapsed in a pool. You’ve been a busy bee.

  2. Congratulations! I’m sure these events can be exhausting–but anything for a good cause, right?

I love exhibitions and faires! Wish there were more around Joburg.

Excellent show, Col! I’ll take the liberty to reblog this on P’kaboo, hope you don’t mind? 🙂

I am glad it all went so well. You need at least one full day of rest before galloping into the next project.

  6. It sounds a great show, one I would have enjoyed browsing around. The book exhibition was a good idea too. The one hosted in Gib across the road from me on World Book Day (I think) was well attended, looking forward to next years. I was surprised how many local authors we have.

This show was a good illustration, though, that if people attend an exhibition with other aims in mind, the majority tend to turn a blind eye to anything which hasn’t been highlighted in pre-show advertising.

  7. Exhibitions are exhausting yet energising. Take it easy for a bit to recuperate.

Maybe it will lead to big and greater things..well done

  9. Colline says:

Glad that you experienced an enjoyable exhibition.

  10. I keep wanting to host an exhibition of self-published authors. A project to add to my list methinks. Get some rest now.
