REALLY AWFUL IRISH CATS

OscarA cat is a creature with pins on its paws;
A rather nice set of sharp fangs in its jaws;
  You make them disjointed,
  Responses are pointed –
You pause with the jaws and the claws as the cause!

When love on the senses of cats there may fall,
They like to stand tall while they’re having a ball;
  When cats caterwaul
  They give it their all –
Their bawl makes one crawl with them right up their wall!

    We have a mad cat we call Oonagh
    Who when doors are shut would much sooner
    Have them opened so wide
    As’f she’d saunter inside
    But then walks away! She’s some loon, her!

    Ah, I have cats, one, two and three
    I did not find them, they found me.
    they looked at house, they looked around
    and made decision very sound.
    This person here will love and care
    we shall stay and make home here
    yes, claws are sharp and they sting
    but in all five years they never sin.
    Toilet always outside the house
    occasional present , a dead mouse.

    During summer months they like to stray
    and sleep in garden night and day
    But when one goes missing ,even for a day
    There is panic station, calling ‘ puss’ to find this errant stray

    When once again, they are found, and return to home
    I lecture them about dangers of the need to roam
    Then a soft , warm , furry body gets wrapped around my leg,
    the purrs and tiny kisses make it okay instead
    I know, they know, whythey need to go
    but I am only a human , and I do not know

    But would I be without them….Never in my life…these are my furry babies..I love with all my heart
