In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Inspiration.”
I really do aspire
To be a flyer, higher –
These are some things you may see
Viewing from our property …
Inspiration’s breathing in,
Expiration breathing out;
If more ‘in’ you fail to win,
You’ve expired, have no doubt!
Inspiration will abate
Once you reach expiry date,
With an early death, your fate
Is to have become ‘the late’.
Keep then, all that will inspire,
For the longest time you may:
These are things will lift you higher
At the ending of your day.
Watching these is true inspiration for the adventurous, and for the imagination.
I wouldn’t mind having that view.

Certainly better than the sea being no-see!

splendid, mon Colonel… I’ve just recalled Lauren Bacall’s words:”my imagination is the highest kite that can fly…” 🙂

That is very apt. Obviously, the lady was not only a brilliant screen presence.

Hard to to daydream with a view like that.

what a lovely view. Is this from the new house?

It is, indeed. Lacks the immediacy of the old one, but still lots to see!

They do work wonders, unless they are both angry – but that can bring excitement.

Such sights really inspire me to do it. Microlighting without the noise of the engine – bliss!
Trouble is, the sky is a long way to come down from if one has an ‘oops’ moment!

Very true, Col. One has to weigh up the pros and cons. No room for error. 😯

The whole flying bit is OK. It is just the landing that could be a big ‘Ouch!’
