A Really Awfully Yucky Kind of Creepy

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Creepy.”

For creepy things I thought I’d keep

To creatures that do truly creep –

Giant snail has quite a lovely time

Distributing a trail of slime,

Giant snail

And wasp does something truly creepy

By stinging spider to feel sleepy,

Til, when it paralysed has gone,

Young wasps use him to dine upon.

  5. I love creepy crawly things. The insect world fascinates, well fascinates me anyway.

Your rather grisly turns of phrase really make my eyes o’er-glaze, spine to tingle, brain to freeze — no more crawlies, if you please!

Pity; more that I could send

Well, I’m just kidding, my dear Col, “squeam”‘s not in’t vocabulary! Your post is droll and makes me “lol” — no need for the constabulary as I’ll come quietly, do my time. (I’m so keen to make it rhyme I go off piste, off course, off trail — please don’t sentence me to gaol …)

What I’m trying to say, but poorly, is I don’t mind your creepy-crawlie!

You have the right to remain silent - but please don't!
