Striking, isn’t it? The deep forest ones seem to be a slightly darker green but ours are much lighter.

Never seen one of these at our spot, and having just checked my butterfly book are not likely to see one either. They are found in your neck of the woods and never venture this far inland. The wing shape is exquisite.
