Roll over Donny Osmond – here’s my own original version on the theme:
They all just call it puppy love:
While I admit that’s true,
It’s one I know, push comes to shove,
Will last a lifetime through.
I yearn for him when we’re apart
And want to spend each day
Close to the one who has my heart,
And never go away.
He is so handsome, kind and bold,
And loving to extreme;
To have him mine, to love and hold,
Is like a happy dream!
He has this lovely sense of fun,
And makes all laugh out loud,
But when he shows that I’m the one
I truly do feel proud.
I am neglecting every friend,
And that does cause some strife,
But friendships start, and friendships end –
What I have, is for life!
It is quite sad, admittedly,
For I can clearly tell
The boy who gave my pup to me
Is now as mad as hell!
dog, cat, lion, tiger, elephant, bear – I’d love to cuddle them all… but would leave out a rhino and a jackal I think !!!

Jackals can be quite endearing …
Rhinos, though, are overbearing!

Yes, I got it wrong with jackals, I meant to say hyenas… what are your feelings about them????

I like their sense of humour!
Seriously, they have rather an unwarranted bad press. They are cautious, but not cowardly. They eat offal – but in doing so perform a valuable function like vultures. They can be quite cute, actually!

Good, I like to live and learn and discover that all creatures have a purpose, and to know that when they are reviled it’s because they have been misunderstood …long live hyenas !!!

As with my liking for snakes, I don’t think too many will agree with me, though!

Funnily enough, I think snakes are amazing, and was only looking at some on youtube last night…beautiful and intelligent… I think we’re on the same page as they say !!!!

He did seem to have a lot of swoon factor, but he swayed too much to sway me! 🙂

Oh, Col, this was the first single I ever owned! I played it over and over….and how much I have missed- is this a new pup on the block?

Hope I didn’t ruin the memory! 🙂
No, this is a pic taken years ago which seemed to fit. In fact, it is a second choice – the one now permanently on FB is of little white Gemma.

Hearing it on an old CD got my mind working on a twist – oh, it had ‘Let’s Twist Again’, too!
The puppy changed in midstream – I had a pic of the Maltese but thought this was better.
