In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Change.”
If you should wonder why
I have an extra tuner
In side-bar, it’s for my
Guitar I’d not got, sooner.
In Midlands when on tour,
I purchased this guitar, there;
Condition, it was poor –
Not fit for play, by far, there!
The price, accordingly,
Was quite a good deal lower;
I thought that I would see
If I could make a goer.
I stuck hard at the task,
And then resolve I tightened,
That did all I could ask –
Utility is heightened!
Glad the guitar is a goer. It looks a beauty. The wood is looking good. The cool rhymes make me smile! Nice to have a new project to pick up for the Autumn nights too.

It certainly is sounding good, and providing another means of keeping me out of mischief. Of course, we are nicely into Spring now in this neck of the woods.

I saw that as a gonner, but what a transformation! 😀

It sounds extra sweet to me having come from that beginning!

Nice job by the looks of it. Well done, you!
How does it sound?

Thanks! Sounds nice and resonating and keeps in tune well.

Fabulous, so much easier to store and transport than a piano, after my degree I want to make time to learn to play a guitar.

I prefer the violin, actually, but I suppose it isn’t as good an instrument to use as vocal accompaniment, whereas the guitar does lend itself to that extremely well from rock to opera.

Let’s hear it.
My stepson found my guitar and gave it to his friend. He’d never heard me play it, but he heard a few choice words when I discovered my loss!

So you picked on him and not on the guitar – deservedly so. Does he believe that non-use is synonymous with relinquishing ownership?

He had only recently become my stepson, so temporary non-use was excusable!

The logic of what’s yours but not used is disposable is still distinctly iffy!

Just give me a few years to learn to drive the thing – it isn’t quite the same as a recorder, piano, clarinet, harmonica or violin!

Good for you May the two of you make sweet music.

If I fail, it won’t be for want of trying – but the guitar won’t be to blame!
