In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Happy Place.”

A home with grandkids in it is a Happy Place, indeed! This was taken in our own little garden. R and J are dressed to go out for my birthday celebration evening …
Of course, I was tempted to try and get punny with this theme. I thought of going for a Harpy Place:

Or, maybe, a Happy Plaice:

But I couldn’t plaice any harpies locally …

Your girls are très chic, and happy to be with you as you are with them. I’m glad you didn’t find any harpies, and only happy plaice.

Not always happy in my company. I try to keep some of their excesses in check! And to stop them from provoking one another (normal sisters, I suppose).

They manage to be cute in just about any togs! Well, I think so, anyway!

As it should be. 🙂 And I think they would be cute no matter what, too.

The girls looks stunning in their matching outfits.
The plaice brings back fond memories of Friday night dinners in Holland. I was sent to buy them freshly fried from the fishmonger nearby. Mmmmmm!

They are pretty outfits, indeed.
The subservient fishmonger who knew his plaice? 🙂

It’s so wonderful that you have daily interactions with your granddaughters ~ I’m sure it’s a win-win for all concerned.
And enjoyed your funny punnies.

It has got so that I really miss them if they go on play-dates or sleepovers!
Balanced by how sad it is that we have had far too little contact with the other two grandchildren in UK.

Our families are spread out too ~ many days I wanted a clone so I could be HERE and THERE. Hope you get to see the other two soon.

A bit of an anomaly – you’d think a plaice would always feel a bit flat!
