Still, as the pictures may show, we enjoyed our visit to the haunted (Shhhhhh! They’re trying to live that down – it scares the kiddies away) Mountain Park Hotel.

For dealing with the naughty:  slightly, and you get put in those stocks and have rotten veggies thrown at you. More naughty, and you get appropriate bits of you chopped off on those barrel tops – for the very naughty, it’s the head.

So then you stroll up hill and down dale until you reach the base of the peak ...

On the way back I was recommended to try Stormy Hills Trails for the return to riding I have been wanting for some time. (Pics courtesy of Stormy Hills) This one sees me waving a fond farewell to Much Better Half who does not believe riding horses is something sane people do.
