Here is my gathering for the Weekly Photo Challenge on Gathering
The gathering of dogs and kids one tells
Are searching for some smells and shells
A gathering like this tide left behind
Is sure to have some shells to find,
And seaweed bits all gathered there
One gathers will have smells to spare.
With gathering intelligence, a web is fine,
For when the spider goes online
One’s gathering this website is sure to be a winner
For telling the bright centrepiece what is served for dinner.
Duck circles have a gather-ring
When they’re afloat, but not on wing.
At birthday parties, you can see
A gathering with cakes of glee.

Really a life of hardship. having to sleep on the beach without even a roof above your heads… (merry Xmas and a happy new year “Col”) And the worse is you submit children to a homeless life, tsss.

Well, the weather is quite suitable for sleeping out of doors at this time of the year, and the kids do have a temporary home anyway.

That is the owner of the web – a kite spider. This one was living in a mangrove swamp near Durban.

Lots of icing, and crammed with all the sweet ingredients kids are not supposed to have. A layer of condensed milk is one idea.

At least you avoided one of my experiments – sardines and condensed milk. I quite liked it but not enough to make a regular thing of such a dish.
