I saw trees like that in Hawaii. They were Banyan trees. Maybe that’s what this one is…or part of the same family? At any rate, a great tree to have around the neighborhood! 🙂

What kind of tree is it, Col? The roots are impressive.

I’m not too sure – I think we found out when we were there, but I can’t remember or find out, now. The tree, with other impressive ones, is at Baynesfield Estate in the Natal Midlands.
