A Lumia Selfie of a Lumia Selfie Taken with Lumia Selfie

My cameras have, one by one,
Turned toes up over past two years;
So as to keep my blog posts fun,
From cellphone every shot appears.

But then said phone refused point blank
To link up through the USB;
Whereafter, Blue Tooth I’d to thank
For keeping photo constancy.

But then, alas, that also failed,
And awful illness I endured –
I took a tablet* for what ailed,
So now, I think, it has been cured.

Except, of course, I need to learn
To drive new portable TV;
So far, I must say, I quite yearn
To have back old simplicity …

Still, it does produce good pictures.  Here is a home-growed toad outside the cottage front door.

    That is one handsome toad. We don’t have them in NZ, but I did meet one in Greece. He/She seemed to have an old soul.

  3. I love your toad.

    I bought a new cheap and cheerful camera: that’s all it has to do, take pictures, unlike all the other multi-purpose gadgets, so maybe it’ll be able to fulfil it’s function for years to come.

  5. that’s a handsome looking toad. Camera dying, laptop dying and such is an awful aggravation especially because they seem to choose a time when pennies are scarce. At least that is my experience.
