One thinks of Earth as soil and sand,
But most of it is not:
A lot more water than of land
Is what this planet’s got.
In fact, when seen from outer space
What isn’t sea is cloud;
It’s not too often you can trace
The land-shapes standing proud.
We see some sea from balcony;
Sea scenes from down the road;
When seeing sister, then we see,
Of sea, another load.
But there is something that we get
In even more supply –
Both over dry and over wet
There is a lot of sky!
I love the flash of rainbow – a chunk of beautiful colours floating – amazing capture !

It is amazing how a hint of something can sometimes be more spectacular than the whole of it.

Glad you’ve got a view of the sea
From your new balcony!

Not nearly as immediate as the previous one – but we still definitely see it!

You’ll have to take a picture of the moon-rise over the sea. Just for me 😉

I would love to. Currently, though, the moon is likely to be obscured for a while by lots of water falling on our heads.

we have a big sky – well, as big as anyone else’s

*thoughtfully* Well, I suppose those who live on the tops of peaks have the biggest – in fine weather, anyway!

I do like the view from your balcony, and sky too, but as you imply, we all have a lot of that

Regarding sky, I have a feeling the British don’t see theirs much … 🙂
