Really Awful Inflation and Depression

Here’s news to put us in the dumps –
Both granddaughters contracted mumps!
Some pictures? No, they would not wish
To be shown here as puffer fish!220px-Expl0372_-_Flickr_-_NOAA_Photo_Library 220px-Tetraodon-hispidus

Today fixed cleaner, next door pool
(Stone clogging mid-pipe played the fool),
And then I plugged some holes in door
Which I have spoken of before.
And drove to Pinetown as the scene
To get re-stitched, a trampoline;
When back, more paving; nearly done;
The silly things I do for fun!

    Best they have them now and not when they’re adults! I had it when I was a kid, rather a unique disease, eh?

    Oh no, not the mumps. Things just never settle down, do they. I have a funny story about when my brother had the mumps but it only works to tell it in French
