Immy Magic

My blog was abandoned for the weekend, due to a rather frantic schedule (believe me, you don’t want to know).

I see that the theme for the latest picture challenge is Magic, which, as a fantasy writer and Quest composer, is completely up my street. Here is a sample of what happened when eldest local granddaughter (Rhiannon) asked for a story about eldest UK granddaughter (Immy). I asked her what Immy was doing, and she said, ‘She was walking in the woods.’ ‘And then what?’  ‘She met a dragon!’

We took it from there, and first came the stories followed by the charming illustrations by Amanda — then in Spain — and finally I did some composing and orchestration.

My photo shows the DVDs with some of the overflow of teddies from the house occupied by the kids and their mother into our cottage. No doubt some magic was involved in that.

  1. I’m envious, wish I had the talent. I love to be able to do something like that for my Ruby and Poppy May
