Calshot Castle 🏰 Palace House, Beaulieu, and sights missed in mist


  Final tour saw us dashing about the New Forest to see hazy sights of beaches, castles, palaces, and ponies, plus a close -up of swans.

Castle 🏰 and Cove


Kids wanted a castle and a beach. Thus the day saw us clambering as far as possible up Corfe Castle and then over the surrounds of Lulworth Cove.

Sent up the wall


Today there was another conspiracy to bump me off. This one involved clambering up a sheer face and falling off again several times.

Slacking was on line for Boxing Day


I managed about five seconds without support before falling off. Slacklining is for the unbalanced even if balanced.
