I received some lovely presents from the family overseas this year. One of them was this delightful new meerkat companion for the one on the left I was given on our previous visit.
More about my Christmas loot to follow …

i;m still astounded how much of their gift reached you- i never have that much luggage space and last time i tried to post something, i’m still waiting for SA post to find it and deliver it #(and that was ‘UK summer i sent it)

You would hardly believe how much luggage we came back with! Fortunately it was still within the weight restrictions, but then we had both kids entitled to the full allowance. Cramming it all in the hire car to drive to Heath Row was a feat of packing requiring sheer genius (said he modestly).
Post to SA arrives months late or never.

I used to have a grand collection of stuffed animals. When I moved across the country, I handed them over to several very happy children. Don’t tell anyone, but I kept just a few super-special ones tucked away. You won’t tell anyone, will you? 😉

Not if you don’t tell anyone about the cute little stuffed bunny I bought very definitely for myself at a car boot sale some years ago!
