Wordle 284 from The Sunday Whirl. Only eleven words this week for me to use in order and cause to rhyme. That helped to keep it short and simple.
If you recognise the plant, you probably have a misspent youth!
The crooked grandmother would hole up there —
Her attic in the sky was a wise spot where
Her ‘tobacco plants’ first grew their leaves
In her world of sin right under the eaves.
My favorite fauna. Cannabis keeps me functioning when my body wants to quit. THC rules! CBDs rock! Medicine for the mind and body.
God sure blessed us when He made this wonderful plant.

I am loving seeing how many stories and poems are being written using the words in this wordle. These grandmothers certainly have a lot of stories to share.

Love the wordle! That plant has become fashionable again-mostly as a panacea!

Quite useful medically. I am convinced, though, that it is harmful as a recreational substance, despite all the protests to the contrary.

Curiously many years ago my Grandfather gave me some tobacco seedlings to grow in my garden. They loved it and grew well but there was no way I could harvest the lot, dry them and turn them into smoking tobacco so I gave most away. This was in the UK in the 1960’s and it was quite legal to grow your own.

Interesting crop! Surprising that you didn’t apply yourself to effecting the conversion.

I thought crooked grandmother was the name of the plant at first, and then I realised, Col! My youth must have been misspent on other things…
