Really Awful Fools and Bunnies

How disappointed you must be
That on the first you failed to see
A mention of some rabbits;
Or from my blog did not receive
Some cunning effort to deceive
Both, on that date, my habits.

However, I was then engaged
With things that left me quite enraged
Computers were the reason!
And as my eye is due to see
A lazar, those are not to be
Ive missed that silly season!

‘Kitten’ update as consolation prize.

These ginger kitties are so cute and I loved the poem too! Thanks for sharing. I have just started a poetry blog here on WordPress in case you have time to have a look? Wishing you a sunny afternoon, Sam 🙂

  2. You may have encountered a rare animal related to the cat-a-seurus. Very old. Very valuable. Very rare.

A date you seem to have missed,
    Celebrating were you and got,
    Other things on your mind,
Your step, or you may fall,
Over, here it is know as Autumn,
    Leaves will soon abound,
    To cover much ground,
    Before the year endeth,
And you can embark on another benderth.

    Tho there!

  4. That’s the funniest looking brace of rabbits I’ve ever seen; they look like Australian dingoes

I’m sure there’s a law somewhere that states if you miss April 1st, Col, you can carry it forward to a date of your choosing. I may, however, have completely made that up… or was the April Fool when told…
