Triple Security

For the photo theme Security I immediately thought our our Africanis, Annie —

As a stray we took her in;
Security we gave;
Now with all the crime and sin,
Who is it who will save?

She gives us security:
The crooks all keep away,
For, you surely must agree,
Her teeth aren’t there for play!

For more she will us thank; it
Is seen beneath the bowl:
Her security blanket,
Beloved by that soul!
