I riffled through these at the local Flea Market on Saturday. The stallholder said they were R5.00 each (wow!) but urged me to take the lot for R30.00 ($2.24 or £1.74 — for nothing!). Although I wouldn’t normally have been interested in a few of them, I thought, ‘Why not!’ and grabbed. I did myself a good turn: it turned out that some I would have turned down turned up trumps!
I like all of them, but knowing that I am into classical classics, can you guess which ones I am particularly pleased with? For those with poor picture quality, we have there Classic Rock: Rhapsody in Black; Adiemus: The Eternal Knot; Classical Highlights; The Romantic Mozart; The Mantovani Orchestra; The Boys Choir of the Vienna Woods; Panpipes Play the Carpenters; James Bond Film Themes.
By the way, my side bar has started being tidied up a bit so that, shortly, I can add something very important to me near the top.
The Romantic Mozart would be my first listen to choice 😊

I’d get them for the 007 theme songs 😉

Those I knew I’d like, well though I know them.
No, the ones that particularly amazed and thrilled me were the ‘Classic Rock’ (which is classic in the sense of full-blown orchestra treatments on classical lines) and the wonderful Celtic music on ‘Adiemus’. I would never have gone out and bought either of them.

You look like a Mantovani fan . . .

Again, I find it easy listening but it isn’t one of the ‘surprise packages’ I found.

I’m a little concerned about the boys choir of the Vienna woods. All that lederhosen: it isn’t natural. And what are they doing in the woods anyway? What’s wrong with street corners?

Maybe their parents are trying to get them lost or eaten by wolves?

I didn’t know you were so sophisticated. My son is a concert-grade violinist; so I do enjoy the old masters, but the James Bond theme songs caught my eye. Would I be correct in assuming that R stands for Rand?

R is for Rand, indeed, and the Bond music will, I am sure, provide a lot of pleasure. My current favourites of the bunch are not that, though. nor even the old classics.

It won’t be so much a guess as a process of elimination.
