This chain reaction to Wordle 311 is, as usual for me, aimed at using the given words in order, adding as few as possible, and rhyming. I abandoned the idea of putting ‘colonel’ instead of ‘kernel’ with some reluctance — that would have been a tad too obscure.

Seized by throat, mixed punches scatter;
Simmered rage, until to surface burst —

Had to read this a few times before I finally noticed the title and went, ‘Oh, now I get it!’ It was too early and not enough caffeine had been consumed, but I might be firing on all cylinders now.
