Tabitha still scraggy from when she arrived.
But filling out nicely she now has contrived.

Young J does land training at down-the-road school,
For when swimming club says too cool for the pool.

Our monkey troop come on a rubbish-day raid,
And, as can be seen, quite a mess they have made.

  1. Monkey marauders….or monkeys ready to party. Always some local group you have to learn to live with.
(although there’s a chase on here for some escaped monkey lunging into car windows at a stop sign and scratching/biting anyone e with a rolled down window. Ill tempered retaliation for bad owner, bad living conditions, and unable to find a suitable natural environment to settle down in? Creatures generally are happier and less aggressive if they are left where they should be….he probably didn’t wearing diapers and being dressed up the same way people dress up dogs? )

That seems an entirely different matter, indeed. That a monkey should have to escape rings warning bells straight away. Look at my latest pic of a couple of our local table boarders not even bothering to glace up as I pass by.

The best way is to live with it. After all, they were here first.

Where generally is here? I don’t mind the monkeys or the mess but in places I have seen videos of monkeys over running an town they become a threat to the people , especially children. For all I love animals at that point I draw the line. How big a monkey problem is there? Here in the states our biggest monkey problem is called congress. 🙂 Hugs

Here if one dared to say the government was a monkey problem there would be screams of racism, and punitive legal action. They really are pathetic.
‘Here’ is Durban, South Africa, where there is constant unnecessary encroachment on the natural vegetation which is the monkey preserve. Still, they have learnt to co-exist, and our kids grew up on the friendliest terms with our local troop. I doubt the veracity of those videos you saw. The kids would hand-feed them when rations were short, and there has never been a problem with the kids or with our numerous pets. Those who complain are the silly ones who mismanage the situation.
