Did I espy, that in South Africa you drive on the correct side of the road like all civilized English speaking peoples?

We do, indeed. My only experience of doing it on the wrong side was in Switzerland where I kept going off the edge and then got yelled at by my wife for rounding roundabouts the right way (there).

I did have some experience once of driving in the US, it was fun, my wife & daughter were in tatters! 😈
